Abstract: The ultrasonic velocity and absorption studies were carried out to understand the effects of inter molecular-intra molecular interactions on Surfactant with Alcohols, Cellulose, Polymers, Alkali salts, Electrolyte and Saccharides in aqueous solutions. These molecular interactions are significant in many areas of chemistry, bio chemistry and consequently have attracted considerable attention. Several micellar systems have been investigated in the absence and presence of an external entity to explore the environment of the solubilization and to infer any change occurring in micellization behaviour of surfactants. Hence, the elastic properties, structural aspects, molecular relaxation and interaction process were investigated by usingUltrasonic, UVVis and FTIR techniques. The molecular interactions of cationic surfactant (CPC, DDAB and TMSOI) in aqueous solution for different concentrations (0.2% to 1.0%) have been measured at different temperatures (303, 313 and 323 K). The effect of cationic surfactant (CPC) and its physico-chemical properties in cellulose compounds (Methyl Cellulose, Ethyl Cellulose and Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose) and Alcohols (Methanol, Ethanol and1-Propanol) for various temperatures were studied. It is observed that the velocity increases with increase in concentration and temperature. These properties are attributed to solute-solvent interaction through hydrogen bonding. Non-ionic surfactant (Triton X-100, Tween 20 andSaponin) are dissolved in water and its ultrasonic behaviour is noted for different temperatures. newline
