Evaluation of Heat Shock Protein 90 in Normal Oral Lichen Planus and Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Abstract

Heat shock protein 90 is the guardian chaperone of our body and it can take various roles physiologically and pathologically The role of HSP 90 in Oral diseases is least understood This study chooses explore the role of HSP 90 in oral lichen planus and oral squamous cell carcinoma keeping oral buccal tissues as control tissues The aim of the study is to identify and evaluate the protein and gene expression of Heat Shock protein 90 in Normal Oral Lichen Planus Oral Squamous cell carcinoma tissue samples Totally 197 tissue samples were tested retrospectively and prospectively at two different levels Proteomic and genomic testing were carried out to evaluate the protein The results were conclusive and significant There overall significance was also obtained in the study The study concluded proving the exact role of HSP 90 in Oral Lichen Planus and Oral Squamous cell carcinoma newline
