Abstract: In the generation of wireless adhoc networks Neighbor discovery ND is an essential part In adhoc networks a class of ND algorithms with directional antennas and omnidirectional antennas are introduced for transceiver However directional antennas are affected due to the technical improvements in the adhoc networks So that both antennas have its advantages and disadvantages in the usage of channel and power In omnidirectional antennas energy can be transmitted in all directions and it can be received inconsequential bit of the transmitted energy In the way of destination node the directional antennas energy is defined The energy reduction can be happen in the transmitting nodes in directional antennas but the main drawback is that interference in the continuous transmission Directional antennas generate ND with less efficient manner and as compared with omnidirectional antennas there is some conditions for few adhoc networking applications To overcome these issues two methods are proposed First method is proposed a novel neighbor discovery technique with directional antenna for adhoc networks by utilizing the TRACE technique Second method is Energy efficient sustainable cluster based neighbor discovery technique for wireless networks with directional antennas In the first method TRACE technique is self adaptive and it is accomplished of transmitting higher throughput regardless of the network traffic load in an arbitrarily circulated network TRACE technique integrated adaptive antenna transmission modes rather than busy tone signaling to overcome the issues of hidden terminal newline
