Abstract: | newline In the past decades, growing concern about the energy and the environmental issues has been solved by developing hybrid electrode materials with superior performance which helps us to overcome the upcoming energy demand also Most of the research and investigation was focused on carbon based materials such as grapheme porous carbon carbon nanotubes or metal sulfide oxide due to their suitability in energy and environmental application The union of GO and metal sulfide oxide nanocomposites reduce the barriers which constrain its application individually like in nanoelectronics catalysis batteries sensors and super capacitors In this thesis reduced graphene oxide has been employed as a base matrix along with three dimensional hierarchical flower like Bi2S3 two dimensional V3S4 porous crystal and one dimensional hierarchical dendritic BiVO4 sheet like Bi2WO6 metal oxides to prepare and evaluate for its application in super capacitor with an adequate characterization of the nanocomposites These novel and unique structured was first prepared without any capping agents and its makes metal sulphide or oxideRGO nanocomposites attaining high specific capacitance than pure counterpart as well as any other earlier reports of same materials A first report on L Cysteine assisted synthesis of bismuth sulfide Bi2S3reduced graphene oxide RGO composite nanostructure electrode materials by the one pot hydrothermal method |
