dc.description.abstractNatural disasters are increasing day by day and have created more impact of national growth in both the economic and ecological factors Disaster refers to the hazard that causes heavy loss to properties life etc With the help of preparedness and mitigation measures a better disaster management is possible with minimum vulnerability An increase in the disaster preparedness will result in the minimum vulnerability Disaster cannot be diverted to any other place but it can be prevented Reduction in the disastrous effect is a possible thing through preparedness and mitigation By considering the various hazards mitigation is the key and most effective strategy to reduce the risks of disaster Humanitarian efforts are also important to reduce the risk of communities with reduction in effects of emergency preparedness programs These are considered to be more critical for disasters and other crisis essential for protection of sustainable development in India Integration of various hazards results in causing natural disaster Natural hazard is said to be the physical events like volcanic eruptions earthquakes landslides floods etc and also occurs because of human activity To minimize the effect of disaster government prepares to initiate to plan known as disaster management It offers suitable rescue functionalities before and after disaster has occurred Systematically it also refers to the approach of utilizing the administrative capabilities skills for implementing strategic policies so that the effect of hazards and dependent environment disaster can be minimized The available information related to structural buildings lifelines pathways hospitals etc helps the organizers to take good decisions newline
