The present research investigates the heat and mass transfer effects of the magneto hydrodynamic (MHD) free convection flow past an impulsively started infinite or semi - infinite moving vertical plate in a rotating fluid subject to thermal radiation with/without Hall current effects under different boundary conditions. A three dimensional, unsteady, laminar, thin and gray fluid, which is a non-scattering medium and has the property of absorbing-emitting radiation is considered. Initially, the plate and the fluid are of same temperature and concentration in a stationary condition. Fluid and the plate undergo a rigid rotation subject to uniform angular velocity about the axis, which is normal to the plate. When the plate starts spontaneously in its native plane, in the vertical direction with uniform velocity in opposition to the gravitational field, the temperature as well as the concentration of the diffusing species near the plate are raised, ensuing the natural convection owing to both temperature and concentration differences. In this analysis, the approximation of Boussinesq s and boundary layer are considered. The linear governing equations subject to various boundary conditions pertaining to infinite plate are tackled by using the method of Laplace transform technique. The proposed and required exact solutions are analyzed graphically. In this research, semi-infinite plate problems governed by nonlinear partial differential equation are tackled by an implicit finite different scheme of Crank Nicolson method. To ensure the accuracy of approximate results, the present study is compared with available exact solutions at a lower time level and they have found to be in good agreement newline
