dc.description.abstractThe most prominent paradigm service named Wireless Sensor Networks WSN has been employed for the effective monitoring purpose which includes a plethora of applications with respect to wireless technology Since network is restricted to bandwidth and when more nodes are participating in communication data transmission among wireless networks lead to severe congestion As a result congestion control and error recovery are the significant divisions of transmission control protocol which builds end-to-end system connection and effectively plays a prominent role in energy management Considering this the main focus of the proposed research work is to evaluate the framework for error control Initially Cross-layer Based Error Control CBEC technique has been proposed in this research work which involves an error control mechanism carried in a wireless environment to minimize packet drop rate In this work a hybrid Automatic Repeat Request ARQ and Active Collision Recovery ACR have been used for improving error resiliency of a packet from collision as well as from retransmission Decentralized partially observable Markov Decision Process have been applied in selecting the relay nodes during the retransmission of failed packets Here the packet error rate of CBEC for varying rates of packet is 23 97 which is lesser than that of Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request HARQ technique At the same time in case of CBEC while decreasing the packet error rate latency of network also gets reduced newline
