Various 5-oxo-imidazoline derivatives like amino acids, 4-amino newlineantipyrine, Thiazole, Triazole, Sulphadimidine, 2-Amino-6-methyl-pyridine, 5- newlinetrifluoromethylaniline have been prepared. Above 5-oxo-imidazoline derivatives newlinecomprising an eclectic spectrum of biological activities viz. antibacterial, newlineanticonvulsant, antipyretic, analgesic, antifungal, antitubercular, anti-inflammatory newlineetc. With a view of this applicability and chemical assortment in the newlinemolecular framework novel 5-oxo-imidazolines have been synthesised, carried newlineout spectral studies and antimicrobial studies.quot newline
