Composite materials are replacing conventional materials for its light weight comfort in usage and applications Metal matrix composite materials are fabricated and tested for its mechanical properties widely Aluminium alloys find an important place as matrix material due to properties like hardness tensile strength and corrosion resistance that can be improved by adding reinforcements The presence of reinforcements which are harder than the matrix material inside the parent matrix materials makes it a difficult and complicated process Aluminium are easy to fabricate machine and evaluate its properties aluminium already proven for its wide applications still can be combined with other materials to get the properties improved When aluminium is combined with other materials which are superior to aluminium in some of the mechanical properties which can be used for various applications Selection of reinforcements is another important process, reinforcements generally have different coefficient of thermal expansion and density when compared to matrix aluminium material which makes the fabrication and machining process of the composite material complicated. In this work Silicon Carbide SiC and Soda White Lime Glass Powder SWLGP were used as reinforcements newline
