Abstract

Fast developmental activities such as urbanization and industrialization in capital cities and townships have great threat to the prevailing air quality threatening all living beings on earth. Air pollution is an inevitable byproduct which is accountable for its effects on plants human beings animals and material wealth The accumulative concentration of combustible gases and particles incoming into the air is the major environmental problem which upsets man plants and the surrounding environment Air pollution has direct influence on plants as pollutants in the environment owing to industrial and other human activities that disperse in all directions along the wind Hence it becomes very essential to minimize the influence of pollutants on the plants as they provide food and nutrients to all organisms to carry out the essential life activities As the effect of contaminants are more the emissions are to monitored handled and regulated through a proper management A technique to minimize and control the emission of pollution close to the different industrial areas in Coimbatore with already existing plants is very much essential to act as a bio filter to capture the toxic pollutants and to promote greenery enhancement newline
