Abstract: In recent year the power demand in India is increased and to satisfied the demand and the peak shortage have to go with some economical viable solution. In this aspect solar energy is becoming very reliable source of renewable energy. As per the government of India ,MNRE has declared the target 60GW capacity of solar energy by march 2020, which will make India to become one of the largest green energy producer in the world, even surpassing several developed countries. Due to the cost reduction in the PV module and Inverter, generation of electricity from PV is getting more and more popular in this era. Hence the consumer market demands a more efficiency, high power inverter. And because of this demand a lot of research work on Multilevel Inverter technology development is going on. newlineThe literature survey shows that the most suitable Multilevel Inverter is the H-Bridge inverter for the Grid Integration because of modular structure Compare to the traditional three level inverter an interest was shown by the Industry and scholar to go for higher optimized level to get the expected improve performance of the inverter. newlineThis thesis introduces the performance verification of multilevel inverter for interfacing with distribution power generation to utility grid. Here H-Bridge five level inverter is used with a FPGA controller for an hardware implementation and also verified it using matlab background. newline newline
