Abstract: The Internet of Things (IoT) based interactive home automation system is a novel technology innovation which can control and monitor the home devices nor but any real appliances remotely. The aim of IOT to combine everything in the world under a common infrastructure, giving not only control the things around but also keeping informing the state of the things to us. The main objective of the work proposes a proficient implementation for IOT used for controlling and monitoring the home devices using the internet. This system uses portable devices as an interface of the user. It also aims at controlling home devices via mobile using Wi-Fi as a communication protocol and Arduino Uno. The home user will move with the system through the webbased interface over the web directly. An additional feature that improves the protection from fireplace accidents is its ability to sleuth the smoke in order that within the event of an accident, an alert message and picture is sent to the user mobile. A novel implementation of IOT Based Home Automation and Security System is created. This system is featured to be handily secured. This framework uses a wireless communication device that gives wireless access to mobile phones using low power. It is low cost but reliable and safe. Arduino microcontroller was used to implement this framework. A Smart home system is an automated and intelligent system where the home devices are automated and controlled from any place. The essential part of any company such as factory is security. The main aim is to protect the property from various barriers such as crime and loss. The main contribution of the work is the security system connected with microcontrollers using cloud technology. This system is also reliable because it operates without any failure. newline
