Abstract: Mobile Ad Hoc Network MANET works without an infrastructure and has the capability to self configure The nodes can enter or leave the network at any time and are able to connect to nodes that are not within the radio range with its powerful routing capabilities by creating multi hop paths Network management and routing in such network is an essential factor for successful operation of the network The increasing demand of wireless communication and the needs of new wireless devices have led to a research that has become both desirable and cost-effective to automate parts of the network management and data transmission process MANET is different from the other networks based on their node mobility infrastructure less network less node failure low battery power dynamic configuration of its network To deploy the network the challenging tasks are dynamic routing and network management The routing in MANET is different compared to normal wired networks The application of conventional routing algorithms pays high computational complexity on mobile nodes that are configured dynamically Hence an efficient routing protocol is required to mange a dynamic network that operates seamlessly Energy is considered as a scarce resource for any handheld or wireless devices specifically when they are used for disaster recovery or any other critical applications Therefore the network management and routing algorithm employed in the MANET should consider the residual energy of the node as a crucial parameter The overall aim of this research is to manage energy in such a way that no node becomes energy deficient and the network is operational perpetually newline
