Abstract: Abstract: With the advent of Information Communication Technology (ICT), the newlinepossibility of production of information sources in different non print forms such as newlineCD-ROM s, consortiums, databases, institutional repositories and portals over newlinecomputer networks and internet has increased. Today Electronic Information newlineResources have become an integral part of academic libraries. After liberalization, newlineprivatization and globalization, there is great demand for management education newlineacross the world since it facilitates the improvement of leadership qualities in the newlineconstantly advancing corporate world. In tune with the needs of the corporate world, newlinethe students of business and management education need to be acquainted with the newlinenew technologies and variety of electronic information resources available in the field. newlineHence the present study has been undertaken by the researcher to ascertain the use of newlineelectronic resources and services among management libraries with special reference newlineto colleges affiliated to Karnatak University, Dharwad. newlineThe present study reveals that the majority of the respondents are making use of newlineinternet, but the less number of respondents are making use of internet for the purpose newlineof using EIR s. The respondents are also not making use of EIR s and services most newlinefrequently. The awareness about different EIR s like consortiums, databases, newlineinstitutional repositories, repositories of learning materials like e-Gyanakosh and e-PG newlinepathahsala is found to be poor among the respondents. The open access resources like newlinee-Gyanakosh, e-PG pathashala, NPTEL portal and NDL repositories would be of great newlinehelp for PG students. It was also found from the study that the majority of the newlinerespondents are unaware of various search techniques. newline
