Background: In the projected study, we identified ligands and their heterochelates on the basis of literature survey and by viewing the current scenario of the research field. newlineAim: The target was to synthesize different derivatives of bis-pyrazolone ligands and their Cu(II) and Ni(II) heterochelates. newlineMaterials and Methods: The synthesis of pyrazolone derivatives was processed through Paal-Knoor synthesis by various acyl derivatives and heterochelates of Cu(II) and Ni(II) have been synthesized by complexation process. newlineResults and Discussion: All these synthesized molecules were characterized by various spectroscopy techniques such as Mass spectrometry, 1H NMR spectroscopy, Infrared spectroscopy, TGA, DTG, DSC and FAB study. newlineConclusions: The heterochelates exhibit strong activity against Gram+ve and Gram-ve organisms in comparison with ligand. Some of the ligand found more active against one or more bacterial strain introducing a novel class of metal based bacterial agents.
