dc.description.abstractThis study aims to explore the occupational stress among teacher educators in relation to their occupational self efficacy, organizational commitment and coping strategies of aided and unaided colleges of education affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh and Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar on the sample of three hundred and twenty teachers. Major findings revealed that there were low negative and significant correlation between the occupational stress and occupational self efficacy of teacher educators. There was low negative and significant relationship between the occupational stress and organizational commitment of teacher educators. There was no significant relationship between the occupational stress and coping strategies of teacher educators. Occupational self efficacy, organizational commitment and coping strategies conjointly predict occupational stress as significantly higher as compared to their separate prediction of total sample. newline
