Abstract: | iii newline newlineHigher education is about the fundamental significance of the nation, as it is an intense newlineinstrument to construct the learning based society of the 21st Century (Nyangau, 2014). newlineIn India, higher education institutions, especially management education, has grown rapidly newlineover the years but at the same time it faces several challenges. The major challenges newlineregarding higher education are to develop students for their career and to retain faculty. newlineThe culture of the university plays an important role in creation and maintenance of a healthy newlineenvironment where the students and the faculty can feel contented and their efficiency can be newlineimproved. The culture of the university gets reflected in the values adopted by the newlineorganisation and the behavior of the members of the organisation (Folch and Ion, 2009). newlineIn Indian context, there is not plenteous research into higher education institutions as newlineorganisational culture. The dimensions of Denison Model are Involvement, newlineConsistency, Adaptability ad Mission, the dimensions of UWES-17 scale are Vigor, Dedication and Absorption and the dimensions of Student Engagement Scale are Campus and newlineClass Engagement. newlineThe respondents for the study comprised of 212 faculties and 400 students (management newlineeducation) from the public and private universities in Rajasthan. Statistical techniques like newlineConfirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), Simple and Multiple Regression (MR), and newlineindependent t- test analysis were employed for data analysis.
