Abstract: | newline ABSTRACT newlineThe world of fungi is large and diverse in ecosystem. Wild mushrooms are important newlinesources of natural bioactive compounds and are antioxidant potential. They possess newlinevarious pharmacological benefits for human welfare. The present research work was newlinedone for estimating antimicrobial activity, minimal inhibitory concentration, newlinephytochemical screening, estimation of bioactive compounds and antioxidant properties newlineof four wild mushrooms those are Trametes sp., Daedaleopsis sp., Schizophyllum sp. and newlineTyromyces sp. newlineMethanol, hot water and hexane extracts of wild mushrooms are isolated from different newlineplaces. Among the isolates, methanol extracts of wild mushroom species showed good newlineantimicrobial activity. Trametes sp. showed maximum activity (29.75±0.25) against newlineKlebsiella pneumoniae, Tyromyces sp. and Daedaleopsis sp. shown maximum newlineantibacterial activity (27.80±0.20) and (27.00±2.00) against Escherichia coli, newlineSchizophyllum sp. as shown antibacterial activity of maximum (28.00±1.00) against newlineStaphylococcus aureus, Schizophyllum sp. showed maximum antibacterial activity newline(26.75±0.25) against Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Tyromyces sp. showed maximum newlineantifungal activity against Candida sp. about (27.75±0.25). newlineBoth methanol and hot water extracts of wild mushrooms has exhibited good newlineantibacterial spectrum activity when compared to hexane extract. The Schizophyllum sp. newlineof methanol extract has shown best to potentiate antibacterial activity against Klebsiella newlinepneumoniae and Escherichia coli with MIC 1.56 mg/ml each. Schizophyllum sp. of newlinemethanol extract shown antibacterial and antifungal activity against Staphylococcus newlineaureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Candida sp. with MIC 0.39 mg/ml each. Whereas newlinehot water extract of Trametes sp., Schizophyllum sp. and Tyromyces sp. against Klebsiella newlinepneumoniae with MIC 1.56 mg/ml. Tyromyces sp. against Escherichia coli with MIC newline0.39 mg/ml. Hot water extract of Trametes sp. showed antibacterial activity against newlineStaphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa with MIC of |
