Abstract: | newline This research work establishes requirement specification for a comprehensive software-testing tool this will be able to overcome the limitation of limited feature sets of existing software tools. This will involve studying the feature set offered by existing software testing tools and their limitation. newlineThe Thesis first objective of proposed a comprehensive architecture of software testing tool, this will include most of the features required for a software testing tool. The purpose to avoid compatibility which is occurred by interfacing various tools to utilize individual tools strengths. Also as different tools are having different user interfaces, it takes effort to learn, how to use them. A full feature comprehensive testing tool is a solution to all of these problems. It is intended to propose the procedural and object oriented methodology based architecture for comprehensive tool. The next objective is to identify metrics for measurement of procedural and object oriented architectural designs(Case study of snaker game, employee detail and ATM systems have been carried out for the object oriented system and graphics software for procedural oriented system).Next in this thesis the interpretation of the results has been done by measurement on the procedural and object oriented architectures and to understand the behavior of various metrics within and across the architectural design. And to establish finding and draw necessary interpretations and conclusions. |
