Abstract: Smoking has been associated in all societies and cultures of the world. Even though much of the national and international legislations have been framed, but tobacco consumption has been considered as a way of life and status symbol. It has affected generations and there is a need to put control on tobacco consumption in all forms. Therefore, the present study on the regulation and advertisement of cigarette and other tobacco products is a mile stone in the field of research to show red signals to tobacco consumers. newline
