Abstract: Greenhouse technology is a revolutionary name in modern farming and a reliable solution for the newlineupcoming food scarcity in the world. These structures are bestowed with many answers for extreme newlineweather conditions, unregulated water supply, improper nutrition and manual farming all over the newlineglobe. Greenhouses or may called as polyhouses (on the basis of the material used to make a newlineshelter) have evolved with time. They are more than fish nets which just cover the crop from newlinerainfall and pests. Technology is advent for the growth of greenhouses all over the world and the newlinechanging weather has compelled an agricultural country like India to opt it as a solution for farming newlinelosses repeated each year. They have resolved the problem of high demand of irrigation water, soil newlineborne diseases, reduced yields, better immunity to temperature and humidity with the help of newlineelectronics technology. Machines have been automated by using sensors for a controlled farming newlinesystem; it has bypassed the manual surveillance and has diminished the impact of non dedicated and newlineskilled labor in a greenhouse. newline
