Abstract: | Cooperative communication is a new hope for resolving complications arising due to the high demand for radio resources in mobile and wireless communication. Cooperative communication, on one hand, can resolve the problem of shortage of radio spectrum, non-line of sight mobile communication, and outage while on the other hand, it can increase the efficiency of data transmission. It can also be deployed at places where permanent infrastructure cannot be established. It depends on the relaying of data through the relay nodes. If nodes are coordinated properly, then cooperative communication can virtually create an array of antennas. The major advantage of using cooperative communication is that it can be used with existing infrastructure-based wireless communication without changes in the current infrastructure. newline |
