With the increasing demands of the customers for the banking needs, the country has witnessed various types of banking sectors that caters to the need of the customers. Automation of banking system has assisted customer for saving cost and yielding various services at the comfort of their own location. Adoption of e-Banking has also assisted employees of banks by focusing much on production and less on administrative work due to minimization of bank visits by customers. However, one of the impending issues to focus in this aspect is the security. As a researcher, it s a topic worth to investigate as the banking sector is investing huge amount of expenditure towards providing various e-Banking tools and privileges to customers whereas what could be the reason for less adoption of e-Banking . A preliminary investigation has shown that security, trust, reputation and ignorance in emphasizing optimal security standards by various types of banks in India may be the probable reason. Hence, the proposed thesis has formulated certain hypothesis which attempts to investigate this fact and elicit the truth behind security issues and less technical adoption of the e-Banking . The proposed study has adopted mixed mode of research methodology considering both qualitative as well as quantitative technique with newline432 customers. A significant questionnaire is drafted and data is collected on that basis from field survey. The study revealed that by ensuring proper accessibility to different e-Banking services the satisfaction level of customers can be improved and further it was revealed that by reducing the complexity of web design the efficiency of services can be improved. By educating customers about the various e-Banking facilities more customers will be attracted towards e-Banking activities. The prominent complaint against the e-Banking is about the anxiety of safety for transactions and ensuring confidentiality hence educating the customers properly with plus and minus points of e-Banking should be initiated by the banks. The final outcome of the study has found some of the interesting facts that are less known to the common individual. The findings of the study will assist both the common individuals as well as banking sector to have a second look into their offered services to gain better customer base. newline newline
