dc.description.abstract | Today, Android has taken the top most place in the mobile device market and so the Android apps are playing the major role in everyone s life. The Competition among similar kind of apps is increasing day by day. In order to sustain in the market the performance analysis of these apps are very important. Whosoever is giving the best performance will definitely survive more. The increasing demand of Android and its applications compel the developers to analyze the various performance parameters of android applications. Moreover, social networking via smart phones SNS and instant chat messenger apps are playing the major role in everyone s life especially in youth. This motivates us to review the research work related to the various performance issues of android apps and their available tools. We found that little has been done to the CPU, Memory and UI performance analysis part. The performance efficiency of the popular used chat messenger apps such as WhatsApp, Viber, WeChat and Imo have been analyzed using Eclipse with the Android Development plug in has been done in this thesis and the New Proposed Algorithm for Performance Analysis is presented. newlineThe study focuses on the performance analysis of various Android Apps using the CPU Utilization, memory utilization and UI Rendering factors. Since there is not a single source available that explains the comparison analysis of various android apps on the above mentioned parameters, this thesis represent a unique manual for them. newline | |
