Abstract: Thermal radiation effects on unsteady free convective viscous newlineincompressible flow past an infinite vertical plate with variable temperature newlineand uniform mass diffusion in the presence of transversely applied magnetic newlinefield have been studied newlineThe xaxis is taken along the plate in the vertically upward newlinedirection and the yaxis is taken normal to the plate Initially the plate and newlinethe fluid are at the same temperature and concentration At time t 0 the newlineplate is subjected to a constant velocity u0 in the vertical direction against the newlinegravitational field The plate temperature and the concentration level near the newlineplate are increased linearly with time A transverse magnetic field of uniform newlinestrength B0 is applied normal to newline newline
