Abstract

The study titled Effect of Multi-Media Presentations and Concept Mapping on newlineAchievement of Secondary School Students in Punjabi in relation to their Cognitive newlineStyles and Study Habits was conducted on Punjab School Education Board affiliated newlineschools of Punjab, India on a sample of 240 students using a randomized sampling newlinetechnique. The tools used to conduct the study were (a) Multi-Media Presentations of newlineselected topics of Punjabi Grammar (b) Lesson plans on Concept Mapping (c) newlineAchievement test on selected topics of Punjabi developed by the investigator (d) newlineGroup Embedded Figure Test (GEFT) was developed by Witkin, Oltman, Philip. K. newlineRask (1971) (e) Study Habits inventory was developed by Lajwanti, N.P.S Chandel andamp; newlineAshish Paliwal (2013). Pre-test, Post-test (2x2x3) factorial design was employed. The newlineinstructional strategies were studied at three levels i.e. Multi-Media Presentations and newlineConcept Mapping. newline
