dc.description.abstractUnderweight (BMIlt18.5) and obese (BMIand#8805;30) patients may not tolerate newlinecoronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery as well as other patients. They newlinerespond differently to chest physiotherapy during hospital inpatient cardiac newlinerehabilitation or Phase 1 cardiac rehabilitation. High and low body mass indices newlineseem to pose a substantial risk of developing post-operative pulmonary newlinecomplications in subjects undergoing cardiac surgery. To what extent body mass newlineindex (BMI) influences postoperative pulmonary complications has not yet been newlinedefined. newline
