Abstract: newline Teaching is an instruction given by the experts. It helps the students to learn and inculcate their knowledge throughout their life. When learner suffers, academic achievement also gets disturbed. In the present study, the term peer tutoring is referred as the acquisition of knowledge and skill through active helping and supporting among equals or matched school companions. The prime aim of this study is to know whether there is any improvement in achievement marks of tutors and tutees after the process of peer tutoring. Another important aim is to find whether the tutoring process create interest in learning English language and self reliance of the students
