Recent developments in the computerized analysis of medical newlineimages are expected to aid radiologists and other healthcare professionals in newlinevarious diagnostic tasks of medical image interpretation In medical imaging newlinethe accurate diagnosis andor assessment of a disease depends on both the newlineimage acquisition and image interpretation The image interpretation process newlinehas only recently begun due to the advancement in the field of computer newlinetechnology Mostly the interpretations of medical images are performed by newlineradiologists However image interpretation by humans is limited due to the newlinenonsystematic search patterns of humans the presence of structure noise in newlinethe image and the presentation of complex disease states This requires the newlineintegration of huge image data and clinical information newline
