Abstract: | Research on work-life integration is gaining importance in all aspects like organisations, individuals, employees, family members and also in societies as they can affect individual performance and thereby perturbs overall organizational performance. Recent scenario witnesses a dramatic change in the field of Human resources, Changes in organizational culture and even the employment patterns too, have resulted in a different reality. Multi tasking and organized work hours, with proper utilization of technology will help the women in particular, to meet both personal and official commitments at ease. Traditionally, In India, money-making activities are solely set aside for males, while domestic work, child bearing and taking care of entire house hold chores are given to women and their role is just limited to household activities. But today every woman play active role in the economic development of the family by indulging in various fields like education, industry and hospitality services. Infrastructural facilities have greatly encouraged women to occupy prominent positions in the corporate world and the current global competitive conditions have made the corporate companies to formulate various welfare policies compatible for them in order to grab the untapped potential of the women workforce. newline |
