Abstract: | Heavy duty gas turbine plants are normally connected to weak newlinesupply systems or even in isolated operation Load fluctuation could newlinecause these plants to become unstable An effective control and design newlineare required to maintain system stability There is an increasing demand newlinefor an accurate model of such a system to enable the system response newlineto be investigated and improvement to the associated control system newlineto be made newlineFor developing such an effective contro a simplified transfer newlinefunction model of the plant is required In this work the response of the newlinesystem is simulated with speed acceleration and temperature controller newlineThe simulation results show that the speed controller is found to be an newlineessential controller for the gas turbine plants newline newline |
