Abstract: Recently, traditional materials are replaced by the composite newlinematerials because of its greater properties such as high tensile strength, low newlinethermal expansion, and high strength-to-weight ratio. Due to its eco-friendly newlinenature, higher specific strength, lightweight and biodegradability natural fiber newlinereinforced composites are more prominent. Abundant functions in many newlineengineering fields especially in the construction, automobile and aviation newlineindustries are being found in the natural fiber mixed with glass fiber newlinereinforced polymer composites.In the current analysis, with two dissimilar fiber orientations of 0° newlineand 45°, are used for the Madar-Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (MGFRP) newlinehybrid composites, Sisal-Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (SGFRP) hybrid newlinecomposites, and Madar-Sisal -Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (MSGFRP) newlinehybrid composites have been fabricated by using the hand lay-up method and newlinepressure applied using the compression moulding machine. By applying newlineuniversal testing machine and charpy impact testing machine, the mechanical newlineproperties of these composites are assessed. For five samples, experiments newlinehave been performed in each case and the standard values are used for a newlinethorough study.Due to the anisotropic properties and inhomogeneous nature, the newlinemachining of composite materials is hard when compared to the traditional newlineengineering materials. Thus, an attempt has been made to examine the newlinedrilling characteristics of SGFRP, MGFRP and MSGFRP hybrid composite newlinematerials, by using solid carbide brad and spur drills of diameters 6mm, 9mm newlineand 12mm in this investigational work.
