Abstract: This study is aimed to examine the impact of television advertisements on newlineMoral and Social Behaviour of urban youth of Bengaluru. The study focuses on newlineProspective and Retrospective approach. More specifically, the study sought to newlineachieve the following objectives; to investigate the effects of television advertising on newlinevalue system of youth, to find out the influence of television advertisements in newlinepromoting materialism, to study the impact of television advertisements in involving newlineyouth in sexual pre-occupation, to understand ethics in television advertising and to newlinestudy the cultural impact of television advertisements on youth. Respondents for the newlinestudy comprised of viewers between the age group of 15 to 29 years. The sample newlinepopulation in this study was 352 youth in their productive ages (15-29years). newline
