dc.description.abstract | India is a wild life rich country. Wild life plays an important role for maintaining balance of ecosystem. Ecosystem becomes stable with the increase in biodiversity. Behaviour is vital factor in conservation of animals. Conservation of wild life is essential for sustainable development. Wild life includes fauna and flora in forest. Wild life is important due to Ecological value, Commercial value, Game value, Scientific value, Aesthetic value and Ethical value. Wild life is vanished due to human interaction and its direct or indirect destruction. A strong predator prey relationship is exhibited in Indian wild life by Predators such as Indian Tiger (Panthera tigris), Indian Lion (Panthera leo), Indian Leopard (Panthera pardus) and Indian deer such as Chital or Spotted deer (Axis axis), Sambhar (Cervus unicolor) and Barasingha or Swamp deer (Cervus devaucelii) along with antelopes such as Chinkara (Gazella benettii), Black Buck (Antelope cervicapra), Chausingha or Four Horned antelope (Tetracerus quadricornis) and Nilgai (Boselaphus tragocamelus). newline | |
