Abstract: newline The technology is playing an important role in every organization. newlineItimprovesorganization sperformance and growth. Technology is especially involved newlinewith each and every work in IT organization. So, researcher has taken the opportunity to newlinedo a study on information technology. The objective of this study is to improve the IT newlinebusiness process by tuning technology. Researcher has framed questionnaire in six newlinesections such as demographical information, software test management, software newlinedevelopment management, software infrastructure environment management, software newlineproduction support management and technology for IT business process. The different newlinetypes of software management in SDLC such as software test management, software newlinedevelopment management, software infrastructure environment management, and newlinesoftware production support management questions are classified under five different newlineproductivity factors such as assessment management, delivery slippage, efficient newlineprocess management, and research and development role in innovation. As per newlinemathematical formula sample size is decided to 625. The quota sampling method is newlineadopted to frame the sampling method. Ten percent of the sample has been collected by newlineusing judgment sampling in five different IT organizations in Chennai region. The newlinecollected data is entered in Microsoft excel and analyzed with help of SPSS package. newlineThe various statistical tools have been used to do analysis, such as percentage method, newlinecentral tendency test, Student t test, one-way ANOVA, Chi-square test, and correlation newlinecoefficient method. newlineThere are numerous ways of analysis which have been done. From this analysis it newlineis observed that lot of factors are influencing positively as well as negatively in newlinetechnology with regard to IT business process. The negatively influenced factors are newlinehighlighted in each analysis and brought into the final findings. The structural equation newlineis model also framed for this analysis for optimum utilization of technology for IT newlinebusiness improvement. The detailed suggestion is given to reduce negative influence newlineand increase positive influence on technology. This study will be very useful for IT newlineorganization to manufacture zero defect products in future as well as to improve client newlinesatisfaction. This research provides various kinds of sight and avenue for future newlineresearch in IT industries.
