Abstract: Abstract (Maximum Characters: 2048 Dance has traditionally been an important part of religion and culture in India. In ancient times dances were intended for religious purposes. According to Indian legend, the Gods invented dance. Natraja (A depiction of Shiva) is the divine, cosmic dancer and a classic image in Indian Art. Like Shiva, Goddess Parvati and Lord Krishna are also supreme energies associated with Indian Society in terms of Yoga, Dance and Spirituality. Dance is the hidden language of the soul. To express emotions and sentiments there are a almost hundreds specific hand movements and signs (Mudras). Dance is an art form comprising Yoga and Spirituality as one of its major qualities. Physical fitness, mental wellness and emotional balance are common outcomes of Dance and Yoga which brings ultimate peace and happiness (spirituality) to the seeker. newline newline newline
