Abstract: | This section presents the identified research gaps from literature and objectives, newlinedesigned through research gaps. Agriculture system in Rajasthan is newlinecompletely depended upon the climate conditions, quality or type of soil and newlinesome other relevant ecological concerns. Environment and soil quality is not newlineso good for the agricultural development. The present conditions of farmers newlineare also not good enough. Currently farmers in Rajasthan are not aware about newlinetechnology or less interactive with technologies that lead to these conditions newlineand most of the researches are theory based. Government policies are also newlinenot so much effective for farmers. Though, encouraging anticipation for development newlineof agriculture can be expected from the new technocrats voluntarily newlinedeveloping new mechanism and applications for farmers. Thus it is highly newlinerequired to develop some easy to use approach for farmers to get solution of newlinetheir problems. Major issues faced by farmers of Rajasthan are related to Soil, newlineWater, Agro-climate and other resources. Most of the geographical area of newlineRajasthan is under light textured soil that has very low water retention and newlinepoor soil health. Rajasthan has only 1% of water resources available in the newlinecountry and ground water level is continuously depleting. Water resources newlineavailable in the state also have poor quality and fluoride as well. Farmers in newlinethe state face extreme weather conditions like high temperature, high rate of newlineevapotranspiration, uncertain and low rainfall. All these reasons inspired to newlineselect this field for research. newlineResearch in this field is limited to development of good quality of seeds, newlineplants and mechanical devices etc. However research in the area of ICT for newlineagriculture is not significant. This research work focused to develop innovative newlineand cheap method of plant disease detection and prediction of soil quality using newlinelatest algorithms. newlineAfter analyzing the research gaps and study of various population based newlinealgorithms one most recent algorithms selected for research namely spider monkey newlineoptimization algorithm. newlineThe main objectives of this study are as under: newline1. To study the present scenario of agriculture in India specially in Rajasthan newlinestate. newline2. To study the various factors that has influence on agriculture in Rajasthan. newline3. To study the present condition of farmers in Rajasthan. newline11 newline4. To develop some new strategies using ICT to identify specific disease in newlineplants, so that farmers get benefited. newline5. To develop some new strategies using ICT to predict quality of soil. newline |
