Abstract: | The important aspect everyone thinks about moving to cloud is the extent of its security provided to user while accessing services of different cloud service vendors. Further to this, the major focus of concern for researchers over the years is developing solutions, algorithms or frameworks for providing seamless, secure and efficient service access mechanisms to CSU s (i.e. cloud service users). Our framework for cloud has been put forward, furnishing a solution for secure access control and authentication based model and along with it providing solutions to tackle malicious insider attacks prevalent over cloud. Further our framework provides a way to enhance the security levels for service access key sharing between CSP s (i.e. Cloud Service Provider) and CSU s. Apart from this, the framework also incorporates theoretical and practical time bound analysis for the proposed technique combined with digital signature and cryptography. Another feature of implemented model is tackling malicious insider attack over cloud by securing data files stored over cloud storage of various CSU s using a novel technique. Further, in this work a solution towards implementing a low intensity honey pot is also provided to tackle novice or intermediate level cloud attackers. The framework was implemented using CloudSim Simulator, while designing cloud depicting interface is supported by java swings architecture and back end supported by MySql Workbench. newline |
