Abstract: Depending upon the distance of the confining boundaries from newlinedischarge, a jet can be analyzed as a free jet or a bounded one If the newlineboundaries sufficiently away from the origin of the jet the flow is termed as a newlinefree jet However, a bounded jet will occur when it interacts with a solid wall newlineBounded jets can be classified into three types impinging jet aimed newlinetowards the boundary wall jet where fluid is discharged at the boundary newlineand offset jet from a vertical wall of a stagnant pool issuing parallel to a newlinehorizontal solid wall The present work is aimed to understand the flow and newlineconjugate heat transfer characteristics of confined impinging slot jet flow and newlineimpinging slot jet flow through porous medium newline newline
