Abstract: Increased demand for food to sustain the ever increasing world newlinepopulation has led to massive increase in industrial and agricultural activities newlineModern agriculture practices reveal an increase in the use of pesticides and newlinefertilizers for crop production Such activities have resulted in improper newlinedisposal misuse and accidental release of toxic chemicals into the newlineenvironment Pesticides enter the soil by direct treatment or being washed off newlinefrom plant surfaces during rainfall Depending on the phenotype and density newlineof the plant it is estimated that an average of 3550 of the plant protection newlinematerial is deposited on soil immediately after spraying newline newline
