Abstract

The performance on theatrical stage has played a major role in shaping the personality of the individual. Both Murari and Jaydev (Sanskrit poet) have contributed a lot through their creations and are well known in the Sanskrit world. In this research, the analytical and comparative study of important essential theatrical elements have been made. A fine critical study is also presented of Anargha-Raghava and Prasanna-Raghav respectively. The readers of this thesis could become familiar with the knowledge of theatrical elements, such as Vira and Shringara Rasa, which was the ultimate aim of this research work.
