dc.description.abstractA field experiment entitled Effect of crop establishment methods and weed management on rice-wheat system productivity and profitability was conducted during 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 at the Agricultural Research Farm, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi (U.P.), India. newlineIt can be recomended that, ZT rice ZT wheat crop establishment method with application of bispyribac 25g ha-1 + azimsulfuron 35g ha-1 + NIS (0.25%) at 15-20 DAS/DAT in rice and clodinofop 60g ha-1+ carfentrazone 20g ha-1+ NIS (0.25%) at 30-35 DAS in wheat should be followed to achieve better weed management, higher yield, system productivity and system profitability in rice-wheat cropping system.
