Abstract: Aluminium alloys 6061-T6 selected as work material and H13 steel selected as tool material. Response surface methodology considered to find out optimum combination of parameters among the span of variation of parameters. Different Mechanical Test like tensile strength, bending, ductility, hardness was conducted and microstructure of images were captured and observed. The main objective of this research work was to explore combined effect of tool rotation speed (1200 and 1500 rpm), different tool travel speed (50, 65 and 80 mm/min) and tool pin profiles (straight cylindrical, taper threaded, triangle and hexagonal pin) and preheat temperature (175°C, 200°C and 225°C).Result of tensile test, bending test, hardness, ductility and microstructure were recorded, observed and analysed. newline
