Investigation on structural optical and magnetic properties of Co Fe doped stannate compounds

Abstract

Nanoscienceand Technology have gained tremendous attention in recent years due to their wide-range industrial, electronics and biomedical applications. The idea of utilizing both charge and spin of the electrons in existing non-magnetic semiconductor nanoparticles has led to the invention of Dilute Magnetic Semiconductors (DMS). DMS are viewed as capable materials for magneto-electronic device applications. Besides their potential newlinetechnological interest, the fundamental understanding of these magnetic semiconductors has disclosed new intresting physical phenomena such as their tenacious spin coherence, spin-polarized photoluminescence and interesting ferromagnetism. Thus, the magnetic semiconductors have currently become the cornerstone of advanced technological devices in the field of electro-optic, magneto-optic applications. Based on the above newlineperspectives, the present thesis focuses on synthesis and characterization of stannate based wide bandgap oxide semiconductors. newline newline
