Abstract: The present study entitled Impact of CSR Spending and CSR Disclosure on Financial Performance: A Study of Public Sector Banks in India is the research to explore the regulatory compliance for CSR in India. The study examines the CSRD practices adopted by different public sector banks and the impact of disclosure on financial performance of nationalized banks in India. This study fulfils its objective by collecting data from report junction website and annual reports during a time span of ten years (2007-08 to 2016-17). The purpose for carrying out the study is to fill the literature gap by focusing on the disclosure practices adopted by different public sector banks newline
