The present study focuses on the problems of substance dependence and participants who are suffering from this disorder. This understanding helps the therapist to understand the subjective well-being of the participants and their problem. This understanding of the substance dependence gives a rich experience to the therapist dealing with this population.The subordinated themes taken out from the therapy sessions can help the therapist in developing a enriched therapy environment which is useful for both the participant and the therapist.
