The Automotive Suspension system is the system that newlineconnects the wheel of the axle to the frame of the chassis through spring newlineand damper The main functions of the suspension system are to support newlinethe vehicle to provide directional stability and to isolate the chassis newlinevibration from the road disturbances Good ride comfort requires a soft newlinesuspension Stiff suspension is required for carrying more loads Good newlinehandling requires a balance between soft and stiff suspension newlinePassive suspensions systems are inexpensive simple and newlineprovide satisfactory level of performance However the compromises newlinebetween the above three conflicting demands have been fixed and it is newlinenot possible to enhance the overall performance at all load and speed newlineconditions Numbers of studies have been done from semi active to fully newlineactive schemes newline newlineen_US
