The growth of large interconnected power systems demands a high newlinedegree of security for normal operation Consequently the burden of the newlinesystem operators has increased tremendously Their effort is to ensure that all newlinethe customers are satisfied with good quality of electric power supplied all the newlinetime Therefore it becomes a necessity to develop methods for a quick newlinesecurity evaluation of power system performance using real time data In fact newlinethe operator will be able to detect system conditions which may lead to newlinepossible failure or deterioration of the quality of power supply before the newlineoccurrence of such conditions The evaluation forewarns the operators that the newlinesystem is not in secure operating conditions and appropriate precautions and newline or remedial actions must be taken quickly newline newline
