Abstract: Dosimetric verification of electron and photon beams from the Telecobalt, Linear accelerator and HDR brachytherapy machines have been investigated using ionization chambers, thermoluminescence dosimeters (TLD) and electronic portal imaging devices (EPID). The clinical radiation doses are verified for carcinoma breast patients. The glow curve peak parameters have been studied in case of emission from X-ray photon irritated LiF: Mg, Ti TLDs at high heating rates upto 50K/s. The elemental analysis of blood samples of breast cancer patients have been studied by wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence technique.
