Abstract: The fundamental approach of demography is to understanding of human society. It is science of human population. Demographer s primary task is to ascertain the number of people in a particular area, to determine what change that number represents from a previous census, to elucidate the change and to estimate the future trends of population change. The demography traces the origin of population changes and studies their impact on human population. The demographers analyze and collect data that are useful for understanding various social systems and for establishing policy of public in such area as housing, education and unemployment. Today, however, the study of human populations, their changing number and characteristics is considered in to the discipline of demography. Births, deaths, and migration are the three basic demographic variables that determine population growth of a region. High fertility rate results in a future young population and low fertility rate increases the high number of aged population in to the total population. Immigration and inmigration tend to lower the age of population, whereas emigration and out migration increase its age. In the demography main focus of study is the human Population. Population is one of the most important resources which play a major role in determining the economy of the area. Demography is the statistical study of human population. It is a very general science that can be applied to any newline3 newline newlinecategory of dynamic living population i.e., one that changes over time or space. Demography is very interesting and fascinating subject which acknowledges the human beings about the distinct natural and cultural features of the world. It deals with the study of the size of population, population structure and distribution of these populations and spatial as well as temporal changes in them in response to birth, death, aging and migration. The term demography comes into exists from two Greek words i.e. Demos and Grapho.
